A SEG banner stand holds a fabric graphic in a frame using a silicone strip sewn around the graphic's edges. The strip fits into a frame channel, tensioning the printed surface for a clean presentation. Replacement graphics allow the frame to remain in use when a campaign changes.

The Differences Between Non-Illuminated and Backlit SEG Displays
A non-illuminated SEG stand relies on the lighting already present in the venue. It does not require an electrical connection for the graphic, making it useful for information points, reception areas and promotional spaces where power is unavailable.
A backlit SEG display uses internal LEDs to illuminate a compatible fabric graphic. It is a different system, with lighting components and a power supply to plan for. Confirm the graphic fabric, electrical requirements and installation method before ordering; a non-lit frame should not be assumed to accept a lighting upgrade.
How to Choose a SEG Banner Stand
Start with the location. A freestanding display needs floor space and a suitable base arrangement, while a wall-mounted lightbox needs an appropriate installation surface. Next, decide whether the graphic needs internal illumination and whether visitors will view one or both sides.
For repeated events, compare assembled size, packed dimensions, handling weight and assembly method. For retail rollouts, also consider replacement graphics and consistency across locations. Choose aluminum or PVC by comparing the specifications of the actual models, rather than assuming that all frames with the same depth are interchangeable.
Custom Graphics and Distributor Inquiries
Prepare artwork using the template for your selected model and size. Confirm the print side, finished graphic dimensions and silicone edge specification before production. A matching frame depth alone does not establish graphic compatibility.
For distributor and wholesale inquiries, send the model, quantity, display dimensions, delivery destination and required date. Specify whether you need hardware, printed graphics or a complete display set. This information helps define an accurate quotation and avoids mixing different configurations.
SEG Banner Stand FAQs
Are all SEG banner stands illuminated?
No. SEG describes the graphic attachment method, not the lighting. The EM-18B is a non-illuminated stand; the lightbox models include an LED lighting system.
Are R2 lightboxes available in both PVC and aluminum?
Yes. EM-18FB is the PVC version, while EM-18FBA is the aluminum version. Compare the individual model specifications before selecting a frame.
Can I replace the fabric graphic?
Yes, with a replacement made for the correct frame and size. Use the matching artwork template and confirm the edge specification before reprinting.
Is a wall-mounted SEG lightbox the same as a freestanding stand?
No. EM-18G and EM-18GA are wall-mounted systems. For a floor display, request a model and support arrangement intended for freestanding use.
